Riata Ranch Cowboy Girl Team Member/ Horse Trainer/Instructor

Brittany is 19 years old from Visalia, California. She started at Riata Ranch when she was 12 years old and has been involved ever since. She is from a family that ranches large scale cattle and sheep in North Eastern California and Nevada. Coach Jennifer Nicholson sometimes says that “she puts the Cowboy in Cowboy Girl”.  She quotes that “Riata has taught her more than just trick riding and roping. It has given her finesse… Something that your basic ‘ranch girl’ doesn’t often learn”. Brittany now lives at Riata Ranch full time and attends College of the Sequoias. She has previously been part of the performance team and helped train younger team members and horses.
